Britnee Weber

Owner & Director of 316 Softball, Pitching & Infield Instructor, Coach

Britnee lettered all 4 years at Centennial High school in Peoria, AZ. She came to Wichita State under coach Tim Walton as shortstop and pitcher. Britnee has played under some of the best coaches in the US and looks forward to sharing her experiences and what she learned to those in the organization.

LAURIE DERRICO

Director of Operations, Recruiting Coordinator, Hitting and Fielding Instructor, Coach

Laurie is currently a Real Estate Agent at JPAR Leading Edge. She was a short stop for WSU (2016-2019) where she earned 1st team all-conference 2018-2019 and 2nd team all-conference 2017. Laurie was 1st all-time career in Home Runs (39), 2nd all-time career RBI’s (141), 4th all-time career in total bases (338), assists (461), 5th all-time career slugging % (.553), 6th all-time career doubles (38), runs scored (136).

Pitched and played outfield at UNI ~ Junior year transferred to Wichita State ~ First Team All-Conference Selection ~ Athletic Director’s Honor Roll ~ NFCA All- Central Region Third Team ~ AAC All-Tournament Team ~ American Athletic Conference Second Team ~ 2021 AAC regular season and conference tournament champion

Tina Nickel

Outfield & Hitting Instructor, Coach

Tina played college softball at Wichita State University as an outfielder (1992-1995). She was the head coach for Friends University (1997-2003) where she led her team to 4 conference championships. Since then, Tina has coached all ages and takes pride in developing a seemingly inexperienced team into worthy, competitive champions. Owner of Nickel’s Worth Performance since 2001, Tina has been giving hitting instruction working everything from basic performance to the details of the swing and body motion. Many players who have worked with her have achieved Division 1, 2 and Junior college scholarships.
